Been a busy week, every day has something going on. Still in the middle of my book (due in two days 😬 so I'll talk about it next week, also in the middle of Blue Beetle finally bc it's leaving Netflix soon 😬) but I keep just rereading fic instead of anything else, lol - all my brain is devoted to imagining worse case scenarios for my doctor's appointment (I am as far as I know healthy) at the end of the month!!!

So, we have:

K-Pop Demon Hunters - pretty fun! I liked the music and I liked the animation, but I kinda wish the plot had more depth. ( non spoilery but kind of negative review ) Also funny, Liam was like "this should be a series," like 20 mins in and I guess Netflix agrees, because it sounds like they have plans in that direction (& Live action? intriguing)

Games: like fic rereads in times of stress, Stardew Valley is back :P

for the last 2 weeks, I guess

I read Piranesi by Susanna Clarke and liked it a lot. Really wild world and a fun POV. Something about the ending was unsatisfying to me, but I can't think of what I would have wanted done differently. I think I'm pretty satisfied with it being a little unsatisfying 🧐 it fits, maybe.

We finally finished Lower Decks. That show is so pretty for no reason ;_; and I will miss it so much. I tried to do episode recaps but failed immediately, oh well. I think it's time for a full series rewatch. Come back to me, Lower Decks ;_; (tho. they really did setup a sequel with that last ep... or at least a comics run?)

I've read a lot of fic this summer, which is wild after winter/spring being very little. (22 fics before June, 62 in just June/July) Also a lot more ship fic than usual because I'm largely re-reading and my bookmarks tended towards that up until the last couple years.

Way behind on both posts and comments (& replying to comments 😬) but I intend to get to it soon! LOL that is so vague but it is where I am at
