humbletoadAn annual event ~ the chirstmas parade...in our tiny town of 300 people, where NOBODY wants to be mayor. (A town with no government or law enforcement) It's the only thing that draws crowds from other communties. On that day, we go from 300 to 2000 easily. They actually do it up right...blazing sirens from fire trucks, precision go kart teams, sport teams on floats..candy everywhere! Fun, fun!
Bo being on the basketball team, gets to ride on the float and throw candy. So, after investing in $26 worth of gluteny candy (no lie) and having his wind suit all ready to go. The weather decides to be crappy!! Cold sleety kind of rain. Bo says..let's do this thing...but little town says no.
Shakes fists at sky and says.."mother nature, why do you punish me so?!"
